This is my Self- Portrait lino cut, which took awhile to make. Some parts were very easy and some I struggled with. Carving the lines was an easy part and a good decision, it ended up looking great. I decided to do the lines for some detail. On the other hand though the detail in my hair was hard to do. I really struggled carving such small lines, even though it ended up looking fine. Without some of the tools though this would have been really hard. Luckily we had a bench hook which held it steady and also gouge for also to carve with. Overall I am very proud of my first lino cut and think some of the details turned out nice. It was definitely easier then a wood cut and I've never even done those before:)
