For this project which was our first, I decided to go with a colorful pattern and interpret the minis as much as I could. One thing I think I did well on and enjoyed were the leaves. I decided to use color and balance them out by doing three different types of leaves with different colors and patterns. I included these leaves on both the article and the main page. I also like the way I placed the leaves, as I think I did well with space. Not only did I enjoy the leaves, but I also liked making the background out of the bamboo I drew.  The bamboo has a very nice texture and value to it and I think it goes together nicely with the main artwork and article. I also drew a green teacup and a Japanese cup holding the green tea powder, as I tried to make it the main subject. Something I did not like was the space around the cups and how I balanced the cups in the artwork. I did, however, enjoy the making of the cups and the final product of them, just not their placement. They had patterns and rhythm to them and their shape was nice and neat. I very much enjoyed the main page and I feel the same towards the article page. I believe in the article page I used a great shape and space unity that completely emphasized the project. I very much enjoyed how well the balance of this colorful project turned out. As it was the first project, I believe my rhythm with the value of the page as turned out nicely.
